Christmas should mean warmth, good food, safety and somewhere you feel welcome. But for people experiencing homelessness, those things are far from guaranteed.
That’s why, along with our usual donation to the UN World Food Programme included in the cost of your Riot Box, this year Cheese Riot is supporting The Archer Project, a Sheffield charity working with people experiencing homelessness across the city and surrounding area.
The Archer Project supports people at every stage, from surviving an immediate crisis to developing the skills, confidence and stability needed to build a safer, more meaningful and fulfilling life.
Their work includes practical support, access to food and essential facilities, meaningful activities, specialist guidance and help towards secure accommodation, independence and employment.
